Udemy, a global leader in online education platform is in talks with Goldman Sachs to raise $100 million, bringing the valuation of the company at more than $3 billion.
The boom of remote learning due to the pandemic allowed the company to boost its growth significantly. In February, the Japanese education conglomerate Benesse Holdings (Berlitz) was the sole investor of the Series E of Udemy, which valued it at $2 billion.
To date, Udemy has already raised $223 million. Last week, Udemy announced that its offer Udemy for Business reached $100 million in ARR (annual recurring revenue). Individuals are using the platform too, with more than 100 million visits per month according to Similarweb.
